Business Administration BS

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Saint Francis will prepare you with the specialized knowledge and skills to serve the complex demands of a rapidly changing business environment.  As a business professional, you will work with employees, teams and customers to further the business’s objectives and the business administration program at the University of Saint Francis will prepare you to being your career in the field of business.

Student Learning Outcomes

The student learning outcomes of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program are:

Degree Requirements

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration requires 120 credit hours:

  • 47-49 credit hours general education courses
  • 42 credit hours in the Business Core courses
  • 30 credit hours of upper level business courses
  • 0-2 credit hours of elective courses as needed

  • Business Core Courses, 42 credit hours: ACCT 106, ACCT 110, BUS 101, BUS 125, BUS 200, BUS 270, BUS 307, BUS 360, BUS 456, BUS 489, ECON 207, ECON 208, FIN 250, MGMT 230, MGMT 272, MGMT 275, MKT 281, PHIL 123 or PHIL 284, MATH 131 or MATH 132
  • Business Administration Major Courses, 30 credit hours:
    • BUS 391 or EPIC 476
    • Accounting/Finance Electives, 6 credit hours:  Any ACCT 200/300/400 course or FIN 200/300/400 course
    • Management Electives, 9 credit hours: Any MGMT 300/400 courses, EPIC 470, or EPIC 474
    • Marketing Electives, 9 credit hours:  Any MKT 300/400
    • Business Administration Elective, 3 credit hours:  Any ACCT 300/400, BUS 300/400, ECON 300/400, FIN 300/400, MGMT 300/400, MKT 300/400, RMI 300/400, or EPIC 472 course
  • Elective Courses, 0 – 2 credit hours: as needed to complete a minimum of 120 credit hours
