Education (non-licensure) Minor
Three factors form the rationale for the Minor in Education (Non-Licensing). First, the Minor not only exposes students to the profession, but prepares them foundationally to return at a later date to the University of Saint Francis or another university to pursue a teaching license. Credit hours earned in the Minor can partially be applied toward completion of a teaching license. Second, the Minor will prepare students who wish to develop skills that could be applied in the training/instructional realm in another discipline, or in teaching at the university level. Finally, the Minor in Education will provide real P-12 school field experience to students who are uncertain as to their career paths.
