Undergraduate Catalog: 2019-20

Special Needs Minor

Two factors form the rationale for the Minor in Special Needs (Non-Licensing).  First, the Minor not only exposes students to the special education profession, but prepares them foundationally to return at a later date to the University of Saint Francis or another university to pursue a teaching license.  Credit hours earned in the Minor can partially be applied toward completion of a teaching license.  Second, the Minor will prepare students who wish to develop skills that could be applied in community settings working with children and adults who have special needs.
