AMI 410 - Advanced Medical Imaging Principles and Equipment
This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of imaging parameters and equipment within their selected advanced medical imaging modality. A comprehensive study of post processing techniques and their common applications will be reviewed. Explanations of imaging topics include exam protocols, image display, improving image quality, recognition of artifact characteristics and minimizing artifacts. Quality control testing and quality assurance programs are discussed as recommended by the American College of Radiology and other regulatory agencies.
