ARTH 225 - History of Animation

This class covers the span of animation history around the globe. Special attention will be paid to the role of Disney in international animation, political and propaganda uses of animation, the influence of anime, and cultural context for animation from many regions, including China, Japan, Europe, Russia, South America, as well as North America.
