BIOL 290 - Comparative Anatomy Comparative study of the structure of the vertebrate body emphasizing the functional morphology of the anatomical systems and the major adaptive changes encountered in vertebrate evolution. Laboratory work will emphasize dissection of representative vertebrates as well as appropriate physiological experiences. (Lecture 3 hours, Lab 3 hours)
