NURS 176 - Clinical: Mental Health Nursing This course applies the nursing process as a critical thinking framework to provide psychiatric and/or mental health care throughout the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on the development of therapeutic nurse-client relationships. Knowledge of psychiatric disorders, mental health theoretical frameworks, teaching/learning principles, and psychosocial needs are integrated in planning care. Clinical practice is provided in structured health care settings. (Clinical 3 hours)
