NURS 201 - Health Assessment
Focuses on beginning application of the nursing process with an emphasis on the assessment and analysis phases. Incorporates concepts of the holistic person to develop nursing skills for collecting and interpreting physical, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual health data for well adult and elderly individuals. Students begin developing communication skills for establishing and maintaining compassionate relationships with individuals.
Credit Hours: 4
Prerequisite: PSYC 121 & BIOL 222 & BIOL 221 OR PSYC 121 & BIOL262 & BIOL261, High School Chemistry, CHEM 121 or Equivalent
