NURS 211 - Fundamentals of Nursing Applies the nursing process and clinical judgment to facilitate health promotion and restoration with adult and elderly individuals. Focuses on diagnosis, planning, and implementation phases of the nursing process. Fundamental nursing skills needed for implementation of nursing care are explored. Beginning skills in therapeutic communication are developed to establish a caring presence with individuals. Constructs evidence-based lifestyle strategies to achieve and maintain student’s own health and wellness.
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: NURS 202 & NURS 201 , Technology Application
