NURS 227 - LPN Maternal-Child Nursing
LPN Maternal-Child Nursing, builds upon previously acquired knowledge to emphasize the professional nurse’s role in providing family-centered care to clients of childbearing and childrearing stages of the life span. The course will focus upon the promotion of wellness and the maintenance and restoration of health in women, infants, children, and adolescents in a variety of functional and altered health states. Ethical & Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services are reviewed in relationship to the course.(Theory 2 hours)
