NURS 342 - Clinical: Health Assessment
Focuses on broadening the professional nurse’s health promotion and health assessment skills as they are applied to different age groups. The course will assist the student to incorporate use of the patient interview process, as well as apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. The student will perform focused assessment skills on any system-specific problem. Maintenance of client individualism is emphasized through the utilization of nursing models which address health beliefs. Students will apply knowledge and practice skills in a variety of clinical settings.(Clinical 3 hours)
