NURS 343 - Evidence Based Nursing Practice
Focus is on the application of nursing research findings to nursing practice. This course includes examination of research designs and statistical methods commonly used in nursing research to facilitate appraisal of research evidence. Working in teams, students develop beginning competence to utilize evidence-based practice (EBP) models to search for and select, critically appraise, and apply best available evidence to address clinical questions. The final project is disseminated through a poster presentation and scholarly written paper.
