NURS 404 - Clinical: Community Health Nursing Application of community health and nursing theoretical concepts in the care of individuals, groups, aggregates, communities, and populations through primary, secondary, and tertiary therapeutic nursing interventions. Focuses on critical thinking, clinical judgment, effective communication and collaboration among health team members, identification of high-risk populations, systematic health status assessment, the impact of research, and the professional role of the nurse in the community. Teaching plans are extended to include aggregates, groups, communities, and populations. Clinical sites include community agencies in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas.
