NURS 419 - Nursing Synthesis Capstone course facilitates the transition from student to the professional baccalaureate nurse. Social, political, economic, legal, ethical, and caring concepts, as well as the Catholic Health Care Directives, are synthesized for application to practice. Students refine their philosophy of nursing, incorporating nursing theoretical frameworks, Franciscan values, and Catholic Social Teaching concepts. Finalize a professional portfolio to validate attainment of program outcomes and serve as a model for continued professional growth. NCLEX preparation and remediation resources are implemented to facilitate student success on the RN licensure examination.
