NURS 439 - Baccalaureate Nursing Seminar V This is the fifth in a series of 6 nursing seminar courses. The seminar is designed to stimulate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment through exposure to various current topics pertinent to professional nursing. The series will include topics such as caring, professional communication, self-care, legal and ethical dilemmas, human diversity, genetics and genomics, community-based nursing, evidence-based nursing, leadership, interprofessional collaboration, and role transition. Personal growth and development of professional skills useful in nursing practice will be fostered. Some group and independent student work will be expected.
