NURS 480 - Synthesis in Learning Professional Role Development


This course is taken in the last term of the RN-BSN program and facilitates the final transition from the technical nursing role to that of the professional baccalaureate-prepared nurse. Students will evaluate individual achievement of the RN-BSN program outcomes, and reflect upon personal and professional growth which has occurred. Foundational nursing concepts, Franciscan Values, and emerging issues which shape healthcare delivery will be analyzed to promote health outcomes.

Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: NURS 410  & NURS 420  & NURS 443
