PHES 225 - Health Communication
This course focuses on behavior and learning theories, motivational interviewing strategies and cultural competency to facilitate behavior change. Students will explore psycho-social, cultural and organizational influences on health communication and health literacy to inform their choices of health communication strategies.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: PSYC 121 & COMM 121 & ENGL 101 OR PSYC 121 & COMM 121
