Study of ancient Greek and Roman philosophy, with some attention given to cultural, historical, and/or literary context. Philosophers covered may include the pre-Socratics, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, Epictetus, Sextus Empiricus, Plotinus, Augustine.
