PSYC 286 - Research Methods and Statistics An introduction to the methods used in behavioral research integrated with appropriate use of descriptive statistics (measure of central tendency, variability, and correlation) and inferential statistics (hypothesis testing, parametric, and nonparametric tests of significance). The course will develop critical thinking related to ethical considerations and skills in literature review, hypothesis formation, data collection, data analysis and interpretation, use of technology and scientific report writing in APA style format.
Credit Hours: 3 Prerequisite: PSYC 121
