READ 302 - Methods and Materials ff Teaching Reading
This course is designed to focus on current research, methods and theories of teaching reading. A variety of literacy methods will be modeled. Analysis of classroom practices, as well materials, to enhance the teaching of reading will be explored. An emphasis is placed on matching the student’s learning needs with materials and strategies used in the classroom.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: READ 200 , Admission into Teacher Education
