RMI 310 - Principles of Life and Health Insurance


This course introduces the fundamental principles of life and health insurance risks. The course explores some of the products sold by life insurers, policy provisions, legal characteristics, and fraudulent claims. Life insurance pays the death benefits to beneficiaries and health insurance covers medical expenses for a variety of medical costs (i.e., hospitals, surgical procedures, physicians, prescriptions).

Credit Hours: 3
