RMI 320 - Principles of Community Property and Liability Insurance


This course introduces the fundamental principles of commercial property and liability insurance including the analysis of loss exposures. This course will cover a review of personal and commercial policies, premium structure, insurable risks, underwriting, reinsurance, claims, and the regulatory environment. Property insurance indemnifies property owners against loss and damages of their property and legal liability insurance covers the insured property damages and bodily injury costs from legal liability. A review of fraudulent and inflated claims are also included in this course.
