SOCI 355 - Inequality, Class and Social Justice


Nature and causes of inequality in human societies, emphasis on US class structure within larger context of global economy. Theories of class and social stratification, forms of inequality and attempts at ameliorating inequality. Movements for social justice and formation of utopian communities as it relates to class struggle.
