RESP 160 - Fundamentals of Clinical Practice This course serves as an introduction to the hospital environment and basic respiratory therapy procedures. Laboratory and simulation experience precedes in-hospital care. Students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with basic respiratory care equipment. Specific types of therapy are examined to understand the principles of application to patients, indications, hazards, contraindications, select, assemble, and troubleshoot equipment.
Credit Hours: 2 Prerequisite: RESP 170, RESP 172
