COHS 223 - Microbiology for Health Professions

This course provides a survey of the microorganisms, their environments, and their interactions with humans and the diseases they cause. The course concentrates on the microorganisms which are pathogenic to humans, the diseases they cause, treatments for the diseases, prevention of those diseases, and practical means of controlling the spread of disease.
