PBHL 105 - Introduction to Public Health
This course provides an introduction to the field of public health, with a focus on the United States, although some global health issues will also be considered. The course will provide students with an understanding of the public health definition and key terms, history of public health, a public health approach, core functions and essential services of public health, stakeholder roles in public health, and how to determine and influence the public’s health.
