CVT 150 - Patient Care and Safety
This course introduces students to the essential principles of patient care and safety in the cardiovascular environment. Topics include patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, communication, and infection control. Students will also learn about the specific safety protocols required in the cardiovascular lab, including radiation safety, emergency response, and handling of cardiovascular equipment. Ethical and legal considerations in patient care will also be covered.
