CVT 255 - Pharmacology
This course provides an overview of pharmacology with a focus on drugs used in cardiovascular care. Students will learn about the mechanisms of action, indications, contraindications, and side effects of cardiovascular medications, including antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, and vasodilators. The course also covers the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of these drugs, as well as their role in invasive cardiovascular procedures.
