MRI 150 - Patient Care and Safety This course covers the fundamental principles of patient care in the MRI environment. Students will learn about patient preparation, assessment, communication, and safety protocols specific to MRI. Emphasis will be placed on understanding MRI safety standards, including the management of MRI-compatible devices, recognizing contraindications, and responding to emergencies in the MRI suite. The course also addresses infection control, patient positioning, and the legal and ethical considerations of patient care in MRI.
