HLSC 100 - Nurse Aide Preparation
This course is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in healthcare by providing the essential skills and knowledge required to assist patients in various healthcare settings. Through a blend of theoretical instruction and hands-on practice, students will learn to provide high-quality patient care and support under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Individuals who successfully complete this course are eligible to apply to sit for the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) certification exam for nurse aides. This course meets the minimum standards set forty by the IDOH for Certificed Nurse Aide Training.
