HLSC 116 - Clinical for the Advanced EMT


The Advanced EMT Clinical Couse provides supervised clinical experiences in hospital and pre-hospital environments to develop and refine the skills learned in the didactic phase. Students will apply advanced patient assessment, airway management, vascular access, and medication administration techniques with real patients under the supervision of qualified preceptors. Clinical rotations include emergency departments, ambulance ride-alongs, and specialty areas such as respiratory therapy and labor and delivery. This course focuses on building clinical competency, professional behavior, and readiness for independent practice as an Advanced EMT.
