NURS 296 - Nursing Leadership & Capstone


This course emphasizes organizational strategies, leadership theories, and societal trends with implications for decision-making in healthcare. Students will synthesize knowledge and skills learned throughout the associate degree program to examine management techniques and nursing care decisions across various healthcare organizations. They will plan and implement learning experiences through projects, demonstrating competencies aligned with program outcomes while refining their professional nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on practicing safe, effective, and evidence-based care using current best practices.
