LANUR 105 - LPN Transition
This course will prepare the licensed practical nurse to perform as a registered nurse by expanding the knowledge base and demonstrating competency of the scope of practice of the RN. By reviewing the nursing process, communication, client teaching, and critical thinking, this course introduces higher levels of cognition including clinical reasoning and judgement. Critical concepts include patient-centered care, safety, quality improvement, leadership and management and professionalism.
