NURS 430 - Professional Baccalaureate Nursing Concepts II: Community and Public Health Nursing
This course is designed to provide RN to BSN
students with an understanding of the community /
public role of a baccalaureate-prepared nurse.
The student will select an approved community /
public health-based preceptor with instructor
approval to follow and work with on-site for a
total of 45 clicinal hours. The student is
expected to complete the hours while in the
course.
Credit Hours: 4
Prerequisite: NURS-425
Corequisite: NURS-445
