SURG 151 - Fundamentals of Surgical Technology I

This course introduces the student to the role of the surgical technologist as a member of the health care team. Operating room organization, aseptic technique, surgical supplies, instrumentation and basic surgical routines are emphasized. Learning activities take place in the classroom and surgical technology laboratory.
