EDUC 691 - Elementary Clinical Internship
School site-based summative field experience for transitioning professionals. Classroom cooperating teachers-mentors and university supervisors provide guidance over the course of a semester during which interns progressively assume the full range of classroom responsibilities. Educational principles acquired during course work, and practices developed in Clinical Practicum are assessed through full-time and full immersion experiences in authentic settings. Requires that interns demonstrate proficiencies in meeting state standards through development of outcome-based authentic assessments. Additional fees assessed.
