NURS 341 - Health Assessment


Focuses on broadening the professional nurse’s health promotion and health assessment skills as they are applied to different age groups. The course will assist the student to incorporate knowledge of the patient interview process, as well as knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology into the skills of health assessment. The student will learn how to perform focused assessment skills on any system-specific problem as well as learning how to utilize nursing models which address health beliefs. (Theory 3 hours)
