PSYC 280 - Environmental Psychology This course focuses on nature-nurture interaction, specifically examining how natural and man-made environments impact individuals’ cognition, behavior, and well-being. In addition, students in this course analyze how, in turn, individuals’ actions contribute to immediate and long-term consequences for the natural environment. Students will learn about an array of topics related to the interaction between the environment and their personal well-being: residential settings, housing availability and affordability, issues facing the elderly, education, occupational settings, correctional settings, healthcare, mental and behavioral facilities, and therapeutic options and landscapes.
