BIOL 130 - Foundations of Biology I: Evolution, Ecology, & Diversity For science majors, the course provides a solid and broad understanding of evolution, ecology, and the diversity of life in three domains. It is meant to prepare students for more specialized biology courses by teaching vocabulary, major principles, math, laboratory skills, professional etiquette, and applications. Performance is an indicator of probable success in advanced science courses.
