SURG 110 - Clinical Central Service Technician
This course is a 16-week noncredit course designed for students to apply the theoretical concepts with emphasis on decontamination, preparing and packaging instruments, sterilization & disinfection, storage and distribution, quality assurance processes and knowledge of sterilization equipment. Clinical sessions take place in sterile processing/central services departments of a hospital or other surgical facility. A USF faculty member will oversee students clinical placement.
