MUSC 268 - 808’s MPC’s & Sampling
Students will study the historical significance of sampling and sequencers to develop functional knowledge and experience in the art of sampling. Study will be focused around MPC’s, however new technologies and software-based sampling tools and mobile apps will be introduced and used. Students will utilize different traditional and modern sampling and sequencing workflows. Attention will be given to legal considerations surrounding sampling as well.
