MUSC 275 - History of Hip-Hop and R&B

Open to all majors.  Students will study the history of Hip-hop & R&B and how it developed beginning in the early 1900’s to where it stands today.  Students will examine the social, economic, political, and religious impacts Hip-hop & R&B music created.  Focused study will also center around the influence Hip-hop & R&B has had and continues to have on Pop-Culture.
