This course provides clinical practice experience in an advanced medical imaging modality. Clinical practice experience is designed to support development, application, critical analysis, integration, synthesis and evaluation of concepts and theories in the performance of advanced medical imaging procedures.
Students will select a specialty track in computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, vascular/cardiac interventional, mammography, or bone densitometry. Students in advanced medical imaging clinical practice tracks will be required to be certified in radiography, nuclear medicine technology, sonography, or radiation therapy. content.
