Pre-Physician Assistant, B.S.

SF’s Biology Pre-Physician Assistant program prepares students to be competitive applicants for physician assistant graduate programs. Students completing this undergraduate degree would also meet requirements for other pre-professional careers such as dental school and pharmacy graduate programs. SF has their own Physician Assistant graduate school with an early admittance track available to eligible SF undergraduates.

Degree Requirements

The B.S. in Biology-Pre-Physician Assistant degree requires 128 credit hours:

• 36-37 credit hours of Franciscan Core general education courses,
• 71 credit hours of prescribed courses in biology, chemistry, and physics,
• a minimum of 9 credit hours of directed electives in biology,
• elective courses as needed
