Clinical Medical Assistant

This is a 16 week course designed to prepare students for work as a medical assistant. The course content includes medical terminology and fundamentals of clinical medical assisting.  Other content areas include, safety, infection control, surgical assisting, assisting with medicaions, and phlebotomy. Communication and professionalism will be reviewed.

After successful completion of the course, the student will have an option for a clinical externship at our affiliate sites. Successful completion of the course will allow students to be eligible for CCMA certification.
