The Criminal Justice and Criminology program is a career-focused degree with a strong liberal arts foundation. The core focuses on criminal justice, legal studies and criminology, and incorporates study in the area of psychology.
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon graduation with a degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, USF students will demonstrate:
- A basic understanding of the major themes, subfields, and persistent questions in the study of criminal justice and criminology.
- The ability to identify and evaluate research in the field of Criminal Justice and Criminology.
Degree Requirements
The A.A. in Criminal Justice and Criminology degree requires 60 credit hours:
- 12-13 credit hours of Franciscan core courses
- 36 credit hours in major required courses
- Elective courses as needed

Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet University of Saint Francis admission requirements. Progression Requirements
Criminal Justice and Criminology majors must maintain a GPA of at least 2.0 and are required to earn a grade of “C” or better in all courses required by the major. Graduation Requirements
Criminal Justice and Criminology majors must meet USF graduation requirements. |
