The Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from the University of Saint Francis will prepare you with the specialized knowledge and skills to serve the complex demands of a rapidly changing sports management environment.  A sports management degree will prepare you to lead, guide, and oversee others within an organization.  The sports management program at the University of Saint Francis will prepare you to begin your sports management career. 

Student Learning Outcomes

To accomplish this mission, graduates of the Bachelor of Science degree will acquire the skills described in the following outcomes:

Sports Management 

  • Students demonstrate effective skills in the field of sports management.

Athletic Coaching Concentration 

  • Students will demonstrate an understanding of athletic coaching. 

Exercise Science Concentration 

  • Students will demonstrate an understanding of exercise science.  

Marketing Concentration 

  • Students will demonstrate an understanding of marketing.  

Public Relations Concentration 

  • Students will demonstrate an understanding of public relations. 

Risk Management Concentration 

  • Students will demonstrate an understanding of risk management. 

Degree Requirements 

The Bachelor of Science in Sports Management requires 120 credit hours which includes: 

  • 36 credit hours general education courses 
  • 54 credit hours business core 
  • 9 credit hours for major 
  • 12 credit hours for each specific concentration 
  • 9 credit hours for electives 

Admission Requirements 

None beyond USF standards. 

Progression Requirements

All Bachelor of Science in Sports Management majors must maintain a GPA of at least 2.0, are required to earn a grade of “C” or better in all business core courses required by the major.

None beyond USF standards.
