The Risk Management minor focuses on understanding and mitigating various types of risks in the business environment. Core courses include The Principles of Life and Health Insurance and Principles of Community Property and Liability Insurance which provide a solid foundation in insurance principles. Insurance Operations and Risk Management Case Analysis offer practical insights into the operational aspects of risk management. The elective choice allows students to tailor their minor, selecting from accounting, finance, management, or marketing, providing a well-rounded perspective on risk across different business functions.
