Prior Learning Assessment Credit

Prior Learning Assessment credit (PLA) is college credit given for graduate-level learning acquired through job training programs, significant work experience, which shows a progression of responsibility and sophistication in a field, and can be shown to be related to the objectives of the university and the respective program. Credit is given for the learning and skills acquired and not for the experience itself. Please work with your academic department if you are considering this option.
