BUS 577 - Strategic Organizational Design This course focuses on how firms approach innovative operational and strategic problems in order to develop new programs aimed at creating a competitive advantage from organizational design. Students will be introduced to the complexities of both internal and external environments that may impact a firm’s ability to seek a competitive advantage. The course will use methods derived from the discipline of organizational design to match student’s needs with what is feasible and how a viable organizational strategy can convert into customer/stakeholder value in a financially sustainable way.
